Raw Honey
Here at Alchembee, we only sell the finest of raw, natural honey.
All of the honey we sell is produced by our bees alone with no augmentations to color, smell, taste, or preservatives. Unlike many mass produced, store bought "honey", which are often sugar syrups with chemically augmented colors, and artificial honey "flavoring", we only user that which the bees themselves produce and cap, from the local flora of southern Alabama, routinely consisting of clover, tupelo, misc wildflowers, and hints of fig from our very own fig tree, along with yearly variances from our neighbor farmers and their crops, cotton being an especially sweet and light delicacy.
Our honey is raw, which means all the nutrients and enzymes are intact when processing and bottling it. We don't filter out pollen nutrients, or heat and kill the beneficial enzymes as some others do. Our honey is straight from the hive to the bottle, and provides all the nutritional and healing benefits that honey is known for.
On average, it takes approximately 556 bees to produce a pound of honey over the course of their lifetime, and they store it as a food reserve for the winter. To the bees, the honey is the product of their life's work, and the promise of a future for their hive.
Each of our jars is approx. a pound of honey by weight, and is the pride and promise of our dedication to maintaining and providing for these incredible bees that are so vital to our own survival.
