We are a small and local family business located in southern Alabama, close to the Florida border. We have started up from small beginnings and a single hive, but have continued to double our apiary each year, and have a passion for good quality products and ethical practices. We never stop learning and pride ourselves on producing top quality, natural goods from our bees. Each product we have for sale is produced with the same attention to detail that we would like if we were to purchase them ourselves.

The bees we keep are likewise of the highest quality we can find. The most common genus of apis mellifera (the honey bee) are called Itallians, and while they are good honey producers, they are also highly susceptible to bee diseases and pests, such the varroa mite, also known as varroa the destroyer. Such is why we raise Russian honey bees, as they are two times more resistant to diseases and pests. We source these bees from a specialist up north who has been carefully breeding and maintaining this species for many years.
